Claire von Carlsberg is a beautiful 12 month old sized German Shepherd. She is an 80+ pound girl with classic good looks who comes out of her kennel more than ready for her walk. Of medium energy, Claire does well on her outings around the rescue. Though she can pull at times, she listens well. This gorgeous young lady’s favorite things are: being petted all over, having her ears scratched and giving you kisses. She takes treats gently and already knows “Sit,” “Paw” and “Down.”  She joins canine playgroups nicely and eventually lies down next to another dog to oversee the antics of her counterparts.  Besides being gorgeous, like most smart German Shepherds Claire will gladly assume control of your household if you do not teach her that you are the person in charge.  This special girl needs an experienced, confident owner who will set boundaries from the start and, in turn, she will shine. (Claire is a no for cats.)
